T-Bird needed minor repairs at Rajahmundry. Luckily, there is an Enfield showroom there. Later, we checked out Rajahmundry's main claim to fame: its amazing bridges. It has the second largest bridge in Asia (4.7 km), and not one, but three of them. Here is the road-cum-rail bridge...

And the Old Godavari Bridge which parallels the arched bridge (on the left)...
There is a temple and ghat under the bridge. We arrived during the Durga Puja period, and the ghat was full of devotees dressed in red, come down from the famous Durga Temple in Vijaywada for a holy dip.
Later, we took a ride across the rail-road bridge... it was scary, when a train passed by underneath. The bridge does not look in terribly good repair, and when a train rattles by beneath, it trembles in a most ominous manner. Luckily, it held up...
