The historic village of Malleval (old French for bad valley) lies at the base of a rocky valley in the nature park of Pilat, not far from Blandine's home. Converted into a fortified village by Renaud de Forez in the 14th century. Here are some pics of the place I took during a hiking trip in Pilat:-
