Fishing in untroubled waters

While riding through the lush Orissa countryside, we occasionally came across gents taking it easy on the water...
It turned out these were tribal fishermen. They lay their nets in the numerous ponds that dot the landscape, and lie in wait for fish. It seems a pleasant way to spend the day...

I'm pretty sure, when these chaps leave home, they tell the missus 'Dear, I'm going out to work'... and spend the day doing anything but, leaving the missus to chop the wood, cook the food, dig the field, tend the babies...

Another, fancier, arrangement of net.

Yet another tribal fishing contraption, hung out to dry...
